Stance

Twenty years in information systems across regulated industries, in large-account, regulated and mission-critical environments. At the Mulhouse and South-Alsace Regional Hospital Group, I led the operational process of the information system, at the interface between clinical teams, the IT direction and suppliers, and conducted the selection of the laboratory information system by bringing together department heads, biologists, managers and IT specialists around a shared decision. At Pluris Expertise, a week of immersion across the Grand Est regional offices, alongside the staff, resulted in a document on the firm's potential and future.

These two experiences capture my craft: understanding an organisation deeply enough to help it choose what it can become, from its people, its capabilities and the value it brings. I now apply this experience to the choices AI opens and commits for the organisation. VEIA.AI, founded in 2024, is the frame for it.

Dimensions of the dependency governance framework

Countries: France and Switzerland. Regular engagements in Geneva, Lausanne, Vaud, Basel and Zurich
Method

first, technology after.

A leader's role is not to integrate AI. It is to decide what deserves to be integrated, and to hold that decision under market pressure.

Every engagement starts from the same principle: separate what belongs to the strategic decision from what belongs to operational deployment. The first belongs to the governance body. The second can be delegated, but only within a formulated cadre.

The cadre I help build rests on four requirements: purpose, value, integrity, autonomy. And on seven articles adoptable by the executive committee. Not an absolute ideal, a concrete decision object.

Dependency is governed. It is not denied .

Full technical sovereignty is out of reach for almost every organisation. Claiming otherwise is a decoy. The relevant question is not "how to avoid dependency" but how to choose it, bound it and keep it reversible. That is the space VEIA occupies.
